Red Wine Hot Chocolate


1 cup whole milk

1/2 cup hot cocoa powder or mix

1/2 cup 21 Brix Winery Portland

whipped cream and chocolate shavings for topping


Slowly heat milk in a saucepan on low, being careful not to burn the milk. Once warm, whisk in the hot cocoa powder. Remove pan from heat and add the Portland. Stir to combine. Ladle into mugs and garnish with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

Yields one large mug.
