21 Brix Winery Brings Home the Gold

21 Brix Winery recently competed in the Indy International Wine Competition, held August 1-3 at Purdue University. This is “the largest scientifically organized and independent wine competition in the United States.” This year, almost 3,000 wines from 15 countries and 40 US States competed. Our Ellatawba was recognized as the Rose Wine of the Year, receiving a double gold medal and trophy! We received 13 medals in all. Gold medals were awarded to our 2011 Cayuga and Ella’s White. Silver medals went to our 2011 Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, Noiret, Dry Riesling, Semi-Dry Riesling, Raspberry and Ella’s Red. Bronze medals were awarded to our Cherry, Sweet Riesling and Thirsty Elephant.
