Gold and Silver at the New York Wine and Food Classic
Friday, August 24, 2012 at 5:42PM The Olympics are over, but the gold medals keep rolling in for 21 Brix Winery. We recently competed in the New York Wine and Food Classic, an annual competition highlighting the wine and spirits producers located right here in New York state. This year’s competition included 752 New York wines, 9 Hard Ciders and 12 Spirits from Long Island, Hudson Valley, Finger Lakes, Niagara Escarpment, Lake Erie, and other regions of the state. 21 Brix took home double gold, AKA best in class, for Thirsty Elephant. We also received golds for our Dry Riesling and Semi-Dry Riesling. Silver medals were awarded to our 2011 Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, Ellatawba, Ella’s Red, Ella’s White, and Raspberry.
