Food & Cheese Pairing
Riesling - dry, semi-dry, or sweet - is an easy wine to pair with many different foods. Pair with fish tacos, lobster, honey baked ham or pork tenderloin, spicy Thai noodles, curried vegetables, sweet and tangy Chinese, fiery Mexican or Tex-Mex recipes that include cilantro, or any salty food, especially appetizers.
Pairs well with savory, washed rind cheeses such as Manchester, and semi-soft cheeses including Fontina and Havarti. Goat’s milk cheeses can pair well, including Ibores from Spain. Gouda, white cheddar and Swiss cheese are also good choices.
Grapes were crushed, pressed, cold settled, then transferred to a stainless steel tank. Fermented with select yeasts specific to Riesling, bentonite fined and bottled.
